Based out of a London recording studio, Dream Ending is a faceless project born out of the spontaneous purchase of a reel-to-reel tape recorder  extensive after-hours sonic exploration. Providing a welcome few moments of transportive solace from the recent madness, 'Melatonin' is a sonic ode to the naturally occurring sleep hormone. Conjuring the calming moods of both Tycho and Still Corners, smooth pads swell between chord changes as an otherworldly lead line sparkles at the top of the mix. Introducing a sense of momentum with glacial arpeggiators, unexpected modulated interludes interrupt the flow on 'Melatonin', breaking the spell for just a moment before bathing its listeners in a balmy immersion of serene synth work. The accompanying visuals by Neon Peach Films are equally relaxing, depicting a stunning mountainscape on the edge of civilisation that changes through a hypnotic sequences of stunning colours.
